Do you feel stuck? Are you having trouble regaining balance and moving forward? Sometimes feelings of worry and sadness can interfere with our daily lives. Depression can make going to work or school seem like an enormous task.
You may have low energy, lack of motivation, overwhelming sadness or feelings of uncontrollable worry. Therapy can help! We are now offering evening sessions, contact us for hours and additional information.
There may be a current situation that triggers memories from a past event. It could be a car accident, bullying, abuse, or losing someone that you cared about. All of these situations can be traumatic and my experience with a research based trauma resolution model can help!
We follow a step by step guide to help identify where the problems are stemming from and how to resolve this. You can attend as frequent or little as you'd like and each session is directly custom fit to your needs. We look forward to hearing your story. Let the new journey begin!

I am best suited to help guide clients to develop insight into their presenting problems. Together we will explore and learn new and healthier ways of coping
with life stresses. I enjoy working with clients in developing grounding and present centered skills that they can begin to use on their own.
I am a mental health therapist specializing in mindfulness, yoga and self- compassion. I truly believe that many of our problems stem from our relationship or perspective of said problem. With me, you can learn the right coping skills to handle life's challenges on your own. I have been teaching yoga for over 4 years now and I like to implement yoga postures and meditative practices right into session (if the client chooses). Actually implementing skills in session with guidance will make it more feasible to complete by yourself outside of session.

My most important task as a counselor is to be an unconditional support to you throughout your life's journey. To walk beside you and listen without judgment, and provide feedback, encouragement, and perspective. In our sessions, I strive to provide you with tools you can use in your everyday life to better manage stress, change, challenges, and conflict. In order to make progress in counseling, the right fit between therapist and client is essential. I do my best to provide that for you as we move forward together, or we explore a referral to one of my trusted colleagues.
I excel in building relationships with adolescents and adults. My areas of interest are anxiety, family conflict, child/teen mood and depressive disorders, parenting, postpartum depression, codependency, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I have experience facilitating Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Assertiveness groups. Family and couples' sessions are an option after an initial consultation.
In my office, I strive to help you feel relaxed and comfortable. Therapy is a huge step, and with that comes many anxieties. I hope to provide not only a trusted, compassionate ear and voice, but also with a sanctuary where you can feel at ease to share anything you need to.

My first priority as a therapist is to provide support, compassion, and acceptance as you take steps toward living a happier and more fulfilling life. I provide a safe and welcoming environment that will allow you to fully express yourself, gain insight into your behavior, and develop the skills you need to face life’s challenges.
My areas of expertise include chronic illness, disability, trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, and women’s issues. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based, with a focus on developing coping skills and resilience. I offer a variety of clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also certified in Reiki, a Japanese healing technique, which can help reduce stress and increase feelings of well-being and balance.
If you are feeling lost or overwhelmed, therapy can make a profound difference. Through the journey we take together, I can help you discover the tools to heal from painful experiences, grow in positive ways, and become the best version of yourself you can be.
