Taylor Comito, MHC-P
Reaching out for support can take courage, and I’m glad you’re here. Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or heavy at times, especially when stress or past experiences begin to pile up. I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuine — one where you can explore your experiences in a way that honors your story. To me, therapy is about more than managing symptoms; it’s about gaining deeper self-understanding and creating meaningful change in your life.
My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, with a focus on self-care, self-compassion, emotional regulation, and practical skill building, while also leaving room for curiosity, reflection, and honest conversation. I integrate approaches such as DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems (parts work), attachment-based frameworks, and mindfulness, and I tailor sessions to meet your needs in the moment.
I have experience working with diverse clients across the lifespan in both individual and group settings, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, family dynamics, trauma and PTSD, suicidality, grief and loss, parenting challenges, identity and self-esteem concerns, and more.
Outside of session, I enjoy spending time with my cats, getting lost in a good book, enjoying the outdoors, and cooking or baking. I am honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate their mental health journey.
